Tell Ted Cruz "This Land is Our Land"
In a new Nevada-based political ad, Senator Ted Cruz vows to sell or give away our federal lands -- including national parks, forests and monuments -- to the states.
Nevada's public lands include the Lake Mead National Recreation Area on the Colorado River, Great Basin National Park, the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, and Basin and Range National Monument. These lands draw tourists who like to connect with nature while also providing endangered and threatened wildlife important natural habitat.
The majority of Nevada voters oppose the idea. Sportsmen understand the move will result in a loss of public access to wildlife areas. Field & Stream editorial director Anthony Licata wrote that state treasuries cannot afford to manage these lands, and they will ultimately be sold to large corporations.
Don't let big business take over what's left of our natural landscape and lock us out. Please sign the petition to tell Ted Cruz, "This Land is Our Land!"
